A 560,000 y/o human tooth discovered in france.

Impossible!! My own teeth are not even 50 y/o and they're all busted up, full of cavities filled with lead. And a few of them didn't even last that long as they were yanked out of my mouth and thrown in the garbage can long ago. Who will beleive this charade? Those archeologists had it all wrong this time. You want to know the truth about this nebulous affair? Well, there's only one way: CALL A DENTIST!! After all, who would you beleive in teeth matters? The dentist, of course!! Another thing, if it was possible that a tooth last 560,000 years (or 1,000 years, whatever), the profession of dentist wouldn't even exist, wich is not the case obviously. Enough said. Case closed!

A star is born

Meet Koko! Never heard of him? Well, before long he'll be front page all over the world, that is a certainty. Yesterday I was browsing at Tino's pet shop when suddenly loud and clear wonderful words erupted in the store,  "WHEN SORROWS COME, THEY COME NOT SINGLE SPIES, BUT IN... CROAAK!!" Geez, Shakespeare quote from Hamlet!! All the people in the store stood still at once as if hit by lightning. It was not a lightning but a beautiful rainbow in the form of a parrot.

He was there, alone in his cage, seemingly amused by the crowd assembled before him and still under the shock. Immediately Mister Tino surreptitiously removed the price tag and said, "He's a talker, no doubt!" (obviously english litterature was not part of his curiculum) before adding "he can be yours for just 25 grands". Just $25,000.00?!!! Gee, this Koko is a money making machine! People will pay hundreds of dollars, maybe thousands, to watch him quote Hamlet in the text. "I'll buy him!" I said trying to hide my over excitement. "And put your nicest and biggest cage on the bill!" I added for good measure. This marvel of a parrot surely needs to be cajoled.

An happy man

Check the quiet smile on this man's face, he's happiness personnified. And for good reasons! Time has stopped for him to stay in this peaceful posture for eternity, meeting different people all day long, days after days, years after years, and always smiling. He's watching people going to work with all their problems in their minds, Often people sit beside him, and he's always there to make them relax. Of course, being aware of his state of constant happiness, he knows all too well that his role on this planet is to transfer some of his good fortune to others for a few moments at the time. And he does it, relentlessly, always smiling at the multitude who need a smile to help them confront the cruelty of life.
Thank you sir, one day a statue will be erected in your honor. You deserve it.
